Nolan Espiritu　ノーラン・エスピリトゥ Hello everyone, my name is Nolan Espiritu. I am from America and I came to Japan 2 years ago. I currently teach English here in Japan but from an early age one of my favorite hobbies has always been music. My love for music first began when I would volunteer for my church’s youth choir where I would sing and play the piano and guitar. Since then, music has always been part of my life. For me, music is a way for people all over the world to connect with each other. Even if we don’t understand the lyrics, the rhythm, feel, and emotion of songs can always be felt by others. Today, I will sing a few Western songs that have a lot of meaning to me. I hope you all can listen and enjoy them as well. I look forward to seeing you all on the day! こんにちは、ノーラン・エスピリトゥです。アメリカ出身で、2年前に日本に来ました。現在は日本で英語を教えていますが、幼い頃から好きな趣味のひとつは音楽でした。音楽が好きになったきっかけは、教会の少年合唱団でボランティアとして歌ったり、ピアノやギターを弾いたりしていたことです。それ以来、音楽は常に私の生活の一部となっています。私にとって音楽とは、世界中の人々がつながるための手段です。たとえ歌詞が理解できなくても、歌のリズムや感覚、そして感情は常に他の人に伝わるものだと思います。今日は、私にとって大切な曲をいくつか歌います。皆さんも聴いて楽しんでください。当日みなさんにお会いすることを楽しみにしています！
